2019 Symposium Presentation |
Taylor Foerster and Darren HenryTaylor Forerster and Darren Henry, a filmmaker and a musician, have teamed up to form the Boise Creative Commune (BCC). Their goal is to centralize the lush creative energy in Boise by networking and engaging its community. Boise's community is rich with creative potential but spread too thin for sustaining movements to happen. The BCC's objective is to network creative people in Boise through art shows and a social media campaign that showcases a new local artist each week.
Taylor is majoring in Media Production. He has been a filmmaker for most of his life, and he has a handful of projects on the side. His specialty is making music videos, and he hopes to dive deeper into it after college. Darren Henry is majoring in Construction Management along with a minor in Environmental Studies. He found his place on campus after getting involved with the Boise State Outdoor Program over two years ago. He currently works in the climbing gym at the REC Center. In addition to his work on campus, Darren plays in band The Honey Shivers, featured at this year’s Treefort. |
